Mentee / Mentor Adena Farm (2026)
A complete mentor-economy route for Live: mentee eligibility through level 104, mentor marks into Dark or Chaos spheres, modern CRP value, Rune of Unknown Traveler income, and a fast Warg leveling path. It also covers the level-gap rule, the 111-to-110 mentor demotion tactic, neutral-party drops and why dual class no longer adds a reward cycle.
At a glance
- 1Any eligible character at level 104 or below can enter the mentee progression
- 2A Dark or Chaos sphere costs 300,000 mentor coins and can trade around the 1.5B class as the market moves
- 3A full 1–105 mentee produces roughly 10,000 CRP, with current value per 1,000 CRP above old guide assumptions
- 4Rune of Unknown Traveler costs about 10B and enables Traveler's Tales worth roughly 35M each in 106+ fields
- 5The Warg route is quests to 40, R-grade equipment, Altar of Evil to about 91, then a mentor party with a gap of 14 or less
- 6Demoting a mentor from 111 to 110 keeps level-100 mentees inside the full-XP party range
Where the Adena comes from
The mentee farm is not one direct Adena drop. It combines mentor marks, tradable sphere value, clan reputation points and optional 106+ field income from Traveler's Tales. Keep each layer separate so a changing World Trade price does not invalidate the entire route.
Income layers
| Layer | Reference value | When it is realized |
|---|---|---|
| Mentor coins | 300,000 for a Dark or Chaos sphere | After enough mentee graduations and reward collection |
| Sphere sale | Roughly 1.5B class | When sold through World Trade at the current market price |
| CRP | About 10,000 per 1–105 mentee | On graduation and clan reward processing |
| Traveler's Tales | About 35M each | While farming eligible 106+ fields with the rune |
| Bloody Soul Sphere | About 13M+ market reference | From suitable neutral party farming |
| Mentee's own progression | 105 equipment and usable character | Retained if the character has a future role |
Do not add the full market value of every layer to every mentee. The rune income belongs to field time, CRP may benefit the clan rather than the mentor's personal wallet, and sphere value is only realized after collecting enough coins and completing a sale.
Mentee eligibility and graduation
A mentee enters at level 104 or below and graduates at 105. The relationship supplies progression support, including mentor buffs and the path to the level-105 equipment package, while the mentor receives rewards tied to successful graduation.
- Starting eligibility
- Level 104 or below
- Graduation
- Level 105
- Mentee support
- Persistent mentor buffs during eligible progression
- Gear outcome
- Level-105 equipment support for the graduating character
- Mentor outcome
- Marks or coins and clan reputation contribution
- Account planning
- Choose mentees that can later serve as supports, farmers or useful class options
A level-104 character can graduate quickly, but a full 1–105 route is the relevant benchmark for CRP and time planning. If a partially leveled character already exists, count only the remaining effort and do not claim the full route as newly created value.
Mentor marks into Dark or Chaos spheres
The main liquid conversion is the sphere purchase. Dark and Chaos sphere options cost 300,000 mentor coins. In the reference economy, reaching that amount corresponds to roughly three mentee graduations, though reward details and any existing balance should be checked before planning the batch.
- Sphere cost
- 300,000 mentor coins
- Batch reference
- Approximately three completed mentees
- Market reference
- Around 1.5B Adena
- Sale channel
- World Trade or permitted player trading
- Choice
- Compare Dark and Chaos demand before purchasing
- Liquidity risk
- A higher listing price may take longer to sell
Sphere conversion checklist
| Step | Action | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Count current mentor coins | Existing balance changes how many graduations are needed |
| 2 | Check Dark and Chaos listings | The best option changes with current demand |
| 3 | Inspect recent undercuts and quantity | A thin market can show a misleading top price |
| 4 | Purchase only the planned sphere | Coins have option value until conversion |
| 5 | List at a realistic sale price | Turnover matters more than an unsold headline |
| 6 | Record net Adena after fees | Use net proceeds for route profitability |
At a 1.5B sale and three-mentee batch, the gross sphere component averages about 500M per graduation before other rewards and costs. That arithmetic is only a planning example; a lower market price or a different coin balance changes the result.
Clan reputation from 1–105 mentees
A full mentee from level 1 through 105 contributes roughly 10,000 clan reputation points. Modern rates for the value assigned per 1,000 CRP are higher than many old guides assume, so clan-level economics should be recalculated using the current clan shop or internal agreement.
- Full-route CRP
- Approximately 10,000 per mentee
- Valuation unit
- Price or utility per 1,000 CRP
- Current direction
- Higher than legacy guide rates
- Beneficiary
- The clan receives the progression value
- Personal income
- Only direct if the clan has an agreed payout or shop conversion
- Tracking
- Record starting and ending clan reputation around graduation
CRP is not automatically personal Adena. If a clan compensates contributors, document the current rate and payout rule. If not, value CRP as access to clan progression, clan shop goods or collective benefits rather than adding an imaginary cash sale to the mentor's income.
Rune of Unknown Traveler and Tales income
The Rune of Unknown Traveler adds a separate field-farming economy for a developed mentor. The rune costs roughly 10B Adena and enables Traveler's Tales drops in eligible level-106-and-higher hunting fields. Tales trade around 35M each in the reference market.
- Rune cost
- About 10B Adena
- Eligible content
- Level 106+ fields where the Tale drop condition is active
- Tale reference
- About 35M Adena each
- Expected weekly layer
- Roughly 3–4B per week on a productive route
- Simple payback
- Approximately 2.5–3.5 weeks before consumables and market movement
- Best owner
- The character already farming those fields consistently
The rune does not create income while the character is leveling a mentee elsewhere or sitting idle. Estimate weekly kills in the exact eligible field, multiply by the observed Tale rate, then subtract additional consumables. A 3B week recovers a 10B purchase in a little over three weeks; a 4B week does so in about two and a half.
Rune purchase decision
| Question | Buy when | Wait when |
|---|---|---|
| Field access | The mentor already holds a 106+ field | The character still struggles below the eligible tier |
| Weekly uptime | Several reliable farming blocks are available | Play time is irregular or devoted to mentee routing |
| Liquidity | 10B does not delay a core permanent upgrade | The rune would consume the entire gear budget |
| Tale market | Actual sales support the reference | Listings are falling or not moving |
| Payback | The expected horizon fits the farming plan | The character will soon change zones or role |
Fast Warg mentee route to 105
Warg is effective for mentee progression because it can attack monsters far above its level during the early bridge and then contribute useful damage in a mentor party. The route is quests to 40, R-grade equipment, Altar of Evil to about 91, then a controlled party push with the mentor.
Warg leveling phases
| Phase | Target | Method | Stop condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter quests | Level 1–40 | Follow the normal quest progression | Claim the equipment path needed for the next phase |
| R-grade setup | Around level 40 | Equip the available R-grade quest gear | Basic accuracy, damage and sustain are stable |
| Altar of Evil | About 40–91 | Use Warg's ability to handle monsters up to roughly 49 levels higher | The next party route becomes faster |
| Mentor party | About 91–105 | Join the mentor while maintaining a level gap of 14 or less | Graduate at 105 |
| Optional transition | Around 91–92 | Adjust when the mentor reaches the next field tier | Do not sacrifice full XP to force a harder map |
The mentor can continue solo farming its own 106 or 108 field while the mentee completes early quests and Altar progression. Party only when the mentee is close enough in level to receive full practical XP and can remain alive near the mentor's pack.
- Early advantage
- Warg can fight monsters roughly 49 levels above it in the Altar phase
- Primary threshold
- Reach about level 91 before the final mentor party
- Party rule
- Keep the mentor and mentee level gap at 14 or less
- Survival rule
- Place the mentee safely without pulling monsters away from the damager
- Gear rule
- Use the R-grade quest path before attempting the long Altar climb
- Graduation
- Stop the mentee cycle at level 105
Level-gap control and mentor demotion
The final mentee push depends on party level difference. Keep the gap at 14 levels or less to protect full practical XP. A mentor that reaches 111 can be too high for a mentee starting the party phase near level 96 or 100, so some routes deliberately reduce the mentor from 111 to 110.
Gap examples
| Mentor | Mentee | Gap | Planning result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 110 | 96 | 14 | Inside the target full-XP range |
| 110 | 100 | 10 | Comfortable final-push range |
| 111 | 96 | 15 | Outside the preferred range |
| 111 | 100 | 11 | Still workable, but the lower mentee threshold moves up |
| 110 | 105 | 5 | Graduation reached; mentee cycle ends |
Demotion is a route optimization, not a universal recommendation. The mentor gives up level progress and may lose access or efficiency elsewhere. Use it only when repeated mentee cycles and faster graduations are worth more than remaining at 111.
- Demotion target
- 111 down to 110
- Purpose
- Extend the full-XP window for lower mentees
- Best case
- The account plans multiple graduation batches
- Poor case
- The mentor's own 111 progression is more valuable
- Check before changing
- Zone access, skill levels, equipment and current XP
- Alternative
- Level the mentee farther at Altar before joining the 111 mentor
Neutral-party drops and sustain
A neutral party spot can add tradable Bloody Soul Spheres while the mentor and mentee gain XP. The reference market begins around 13M Adena per sphere and can add several billion Adena in a productive week. This is supplemental income, not a guaranteed graduation reward.
- Extra drop
- Bloody Soul Sphere
- Market reference
- Approximately 13M Adena or more
- Weekly potential
- Several billion on a productive route
- Party condition
- The mentor must still kill fast enough while carrying the mentee
- Survival tool
- Large Tanzanite when ordinary vampiric sustain is insufficient
- Comparison
- Measure against the mentor's solo 106+ field and Tales income
Large Tanzanite can stabilize a route where damage-based recovery fails, but its value should be measured against the cost of a safer field. If adding the mentee sharply reduces Tale drops, monster kills or sphere pace, the apparent two-layer farm may earn less than separate solo and leveling blocks.
Ten-minute party test
| Metric | Keep the spot when | Change the spot when |
|---|---|---|
| Mentor kills | Close to the solo baseline | Carrying the mentee breaks skill cycles |
| Mentee XP | The level gap and survival remain stable | Deaths or distance prevent reliable XP |
| Bloody Soul Spheres | Observed drops support the market estimate | The sample remains empty over repeated tests |
| Recovery | Large Tanzanite or normal sustain holds | Consumable cost erases extra income |
| Competition | The pack remains available | Target downtime dominates the session |
Three-mentee batch and profit check
A practical batch targets the roughly 300,000 coins needed for one Dark or Chaos sphere. Run the same measured route for three mentees, but record each graduation separately because quest time, Altar speed and mentor-party time can vary.
Batch ledger
| Line | Record | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Mentee 1–3 active time | Questing, gear and manual routing | Prevents auto-hunt time from hiding real labor |
| Mentee 1–3 standing time | Altar and mentor-party duration | Shows total account occupancy |
| Consumables | Recovery, teleports and farming supplies | Converts gross rewards to net profit |
| Mentor opportunity cost | Lost Tales or solo-field output | Carrying a mentee may replace another income stream |
| Coins and CRP | Actual rewards after each graduation | Confirms the reference rates |
| Sphere sale | Net Adena and days to sell | Completes the real conversion |
| Supplemental drops | Tales and Bloody Soul Spheres sold | Keeps optional field income separate |
At the reference price, one sphere is about 1.5B gross. Add only CRP value that the clan actually provides and only field drops that were sold. Subtract the mentor's displaced farming income. This conservative ledger prevents a fast leveling demonstration from being mistaken for guaranteed profit.
- Best route
- Warg quests to 40, R-grade, Altar to about 91, mentor party to 105
- Gap target
- 14 levels or less
- Mentor tactic
- Consider 111-to-110 only for repeated batches
- Sphere target
- 300,000 coins
- CRP target
- About 10,000 per full-route mentee
- Long-term layer
- Rune of Unknown Traveler only when 106+ field uptime supports payback
Worked profit examples
Use worked examples to understand the ledger, not to promise income. Market price, starting coin balance, mentor opportunity cost and the amount of manual routing all change the result. The correct comparison is net Adena per active hour and per account-occupied hour.
Example three-mentee batch
| Line | Example | How to treat it |
|---|---|---|
| Sphere proceeds | One sphere sells for 1.5B gross | Subtract World Trade fees and use the completed sale, not the listing |
| Average sphere layer | 1.5B divided across three graduations is about 500M each | Valid only when those graduations actually complete the 300,000-coin purchase |
| CRP | About 30,000 across three full 1-105 routes | Add personal value only if the clan has a real compensation or conversion rule |
| Consumables | Suppose the batch uses 120M | Subtract the full amount from gross proceeds |
| Displaced mentor farming | Suppose carrying replaces 300M of sold field drops | Subtract this opportunity cost even though no Adena left inventory |
| Illustrative net | 1.5B minus 120M minus 300M equals 1.08B before any documented CRP payout | Divide by active labor and total elapsed occupancy separately |
A second example starts with 250,000 mentor coins. Only enough graduation reward to reach 300,000 may be needed for the next sphere, but the old balance is not newly earned by that mentee. Report the sale as a conversion of accumulated coins and report only the newly added coins as current-cycle production.
- Gross revenue
- Completed sphere, Tale and Bloody Soul Sphere sales
- Direct cost
- Consumables, teleports, recovery and transaction fees
- Opportunity cost
- What the mentor would have earned alone during the same occupied time
- Active time
- Questing, gear handling, repositioning and manual recovery
- Standing time
- All hours an account or party slot remains committed
- Non-cash value
- CRP and a useful graduate, listed separately from liquid Adena
Route decision tree
Choose the next leveling action
| Question | If yes | If no |
|---|---|---|
| Is the character level 104 or below and eligible to become a mentee? | Establish the relationship before further leveling | Do not include it in a new graduation batch |
| Has the Warg completed the starter quest path and equipped R-grade support? | Test Altar of Evil | Finish the basic gear route first |
| Can it kill Altar targets without long recovery? | Continue toward roughly level 91 | Step down, repair equipment or use a safer quest segment |
| Is the mentor gap 14 levels or less? | Run a timed mentor-party sample | Level the mentee farther alone before grouping |
| Does carrying preserve acceptable mentor kills and mentee survival? | Keep the combined route | Separate solo income and mentee-leveling blocks |
| Would lowering a 111 mentor damage more valuable progression? | Keep 111 and bring the mentee closer first | Consider 110 only for a measured multi-batch plan |
Choose the income layer
| Current state | Best next check |
|---|---|
| Near 300,000 mentor coins | Compare current Dark and Chaos sphere demand before converting |
| Far below the sphere threshold | Plan complete graduations; do not value an unsellable partial balance as immediate Adena |
| Mentor already farms an eligible 106+ field | Record actual Traveler's Tales sold per week before buying the rune |
| Rune would delay a core equipment upgrade | Wait until field uptime and survival make the payback credible |
| Neutral party drops look attractive | Compare combined kills and sales with the mentor's solo baseline |
| Sphere listings are thin | Keep coins flexible or choose the option with real turnover |
Batch operations checklist
Before, during and after a batch
| Stage | Checklist |
|---|---|
| Before mentee creation | Confirm eligibility, character slot, mentor availability and a useful post-105 role |
| Before Altar | Finish starter quests, equip the R-grade path and verify accuracy plus recovery |
| Before mentor party | Calculate the exact level gap and choose a position that does not disturb pulls |
| During the party | Record mentor kills, mentee XP, deaths, consumables and supplemental drops |
| At graduation | Capture actual coins and clan reputation before starting the next character |
| Before sphere purchase | Check balance, option demand, quantity listed and realistic sale price |
| After sale | Record net Adena, fees and days to sell |
| After three mentees | Compare net return with the mentor's solo route and revise the next batch |
A route is operationally stable when the same steps can be repeated without hidden manual rescue, unplanned level-gap failures or unsold inventory. If one mentee requires exceptional intervention, keep that cycle in the ledger rather than replacing it with an idealized average.
- Keep
- Actual graduation rewards, sale receipts and elapsed times
- Separate
- Personal Adena, clan value and retained-character value
- Recheck
- Sphere and Tale liquidity at the start of every batch
- Stop
- When active profit falls below the mentor's normal farm or account capacity is needed elsewhere
- Scale
- Only after one complete batch has repeatable results
- Never count
- A second payout from dual-class leveling
