Dual weapon · MP shield · CDR ~77.5% · skills part 1

Shine Maker Starter Guide (Live)

Shine Maker is a dual-weapon mage (two-hand sword + bow) built around limit buff uptime and ~77.5% skill cooldown. Part 1 covers passives, weapon-mode skills, dual certificates, abilities, and revelation picks.

At a glance

  1. 1Only class needing both two-hand sword and bow for full kit
  2. 2Target ~77.5% CDR so limit skills stay active
  3. 3Mana Shield ('Mercurial Mana') converts HP damage to MP—core sustain
  4. 4Every attack skill has sword AoE vs bow single-target modes
  5. 5'Exit of Shine Maker' and enhanced rune stones are major Adena gates

Class identity

Shine Maker is a dwarf mage using MP as a resource pool. Limits and self-buffs define uptime. Plan Adena for dual max enchant weapons, CDR jewelry, and Enhanced Rune Stones before treating the class as finished.

Passives and limits

Mystic Weapon Mastery raises M. Atk, cast speed, skill crit, power, and efficiency (zero cooldown proc or double buff duration). Mystic Armor Mastery adds defense and HP/MP on robes. Shine Maker's Strength and dwarf race passives both reduce cooldown.

Utility and buffs

Mercurial Mana (Mana Shield): 80% damage to MP, 50 MP/sec—always on while farming. Sparkling Jump / Bright Jump: triple blink then short lockout—enchant range. Shining Triangle: cleanse + invuln → Shining Protection proc. Time of Shine: 5 min buff—MP pool and crit stats. Exit of Shine Maker: CDR + skill power—Enhanced Rune Stone levels. Time of Fantasy: crit/power buff—enchant duration.

Dual certs, abilities, revelation

Dual 105: early path Recovery + Doom + Magic Force (matk, lower def). Late path Recovery + Doom + Master Fury (27% skill power proc). Enhanced certs: +50 element atk, +50 weapon matk, then +50 element def OR +3% Adena if Pegasus homunculus and Oracle stance.

FAQ

Sword or bow for PvE?+

Two-hand sword for AoE farming near packs. Bow for single-target and PvP kite patterns. Swap weapons, do not carry only one.

First enhanced rune stone skill?+

Exit of Shine Maker level 1 at 110—large CDR and skill power. Second level adds more CDR later.

Dual certificate path early?+

Take Recovery + Doom + Master Fury alternative (matk stack) until gear is strong, then swap to Master Fury trigger build.

Why so expensive?+

Two weapons, enhanced stones, CDR stacking, and enchant stones on many skills—budget above typical starters.
